How Much Water Should You Drink?
The Institute of Medicine (IOM) currently recommends that men should drink at least 104 ounces of water per day, which is 13 cups. They say women should drink at least 72 ounces, which is 9 cups.
Although this is a start, water makes up 60% of your body weight -which means your gender weight and body make-up should also be taken into consideration.
In another breath consider your muscles-for daily living functioning and movement. Muscles need to stay hydrated, because they support simple activities like carrying groceries from the car to the house and reaching items up and down from cabinets. Therefore, the bottom line is fill up the temple with water, always!
“The Importance of Meal Prepping”
Meal Prepping not only helps you think of more nutritionally balanced options, but it will also save you money and allow you to stick to your goals.
If we can muster up enough discipline to set apart a Saturday or Sunday morning run, with a list of items of foods to prepare and prep, this is a great start to healthy living.
You will be motivation for those around you when people see you walking in discipline and meeting your goals. Your food smells so good and people are wondering what they are eating😊.
See? Aren’t you motivated already? You will be, once that waistline begins to shrink
😉. See you at the Market, with your List 🫸🫷!
